Why this training was different

A small room, a long table, and enough time to actually learn the hands.

We capped the group intentionally. Twelve professionals, one instructor, and three uninterrupted days — enough that every pair of hands was watched, corrected, and watched again.

Choosing a destination wasn't decoration. Away from the salon phone and the back-to-back column, students could stay with one method long enough for it to settle into muscle memory rather than notes.

The work itself stayed rigorous: anatomy first, technique second, repetition throughout. It was, above all, professional education — held somewhere beautiful enough to make the learning stick.

Inside the curriculum

Three days, three layers of the method

Day One

Foundations & Anatomy

The first morning opened slowly: introductions, intention, and a full anatomical map of the face before a single hand touched skin. Students traced the layers they would soon be working through — fascia, muscle, lymphatic pathways — so that every movement later in the week had a reason behind it.

What students practiced

  • Core principles and lineage of the Japanese Lift method
  • Facial anatomy: muscle groups, fascia layers, lymphatic pathways
  • Pressure, rhythm, and hand positioning fundamentals
  • First guided hands-on sequence with instructor correction

Between the sessions

More than a training

Tables set up before sunrise. Coffee by a window full of pines. Conversations about pricing, burnout, and building a practice that lasts. The education was the reason we came — the room we built around it is what people wrote to us about afterwards.

"By the second morning nobody was performing. We were just twelve people learning something properly."

In their words

What changed after Breckenridge

"I arrived able to perform a facial massage and left understanding one. I added the Japanese Lift as a signature service six weeks later and it's now the treatment my clients rebook first."

"The anatomy work changed how I use my hands, even in bodywork. Being corrected in the moment, on a real face, is worth ten online courses."

"Small group, serious teaching. I came for the technique and left with the confidence to train two of my own therapists in-house."

Day three, late afternoon

From practice to confidence

Three days of anatomy, correction, and repetition ended the way it should — with certificates, a quiet round of applause, and twelve professionals who could now perform the work without looking up for reassurance.
